Mine Blocks

Game info
A fan-made 2D version of Minecraft called Mine Blocks was initially released on Flash. But since this technology is now not supported in browsers, the project was converted to HTML5, thus getting a second life.
The project is similar to the original Minecraft in gameplay, offering not only to explore but also to independently create an open world through a mass of different opportunities. Visually, this game resembles Minecraft's cubic design and differs only in the camera's location.
Main game modes
Mine Blocks has two modes: Survival and Creative. In the first case, the player must survive in a hostile world filled with creepers and other unfriendly mobs. To do this, you need to create shelter and various items by combining the surrounding materials. So, by combining metal and wood, you can get an axe. Well, the full list of combinations can be found on the wiki page, created specifically for the game.
Creative mode is a classic "sandbox" in which the virtual hero is not busy with the issues of survival and has the fullest opportunities within the game, starting from access to resources and tools and ending with the ability to fly (Spacebar or double-click W). In this mode, according to the authors' idea, nothing should distract the player from the creative process.
How to control the character
All controls are done with WASD keys. By pressing A or D twice, you can switch to sprint mode, significantly increasing the movement speed. In this mode, you need to be careful, as the character can easily fall off the cliff, and falling from a height in this game causes damage.
The inventory is opened by pressing the E key. In the window that appears, you can create items and select equipment. There is also a Hotbar, on which you can place blocks, which can then be moved into the game world by right-clicking. You can also place tools or food in the hotbar menu.
To collect resources and interact with blocks, you just need to look at them and press the left mouse button. It should be remembered that it is more convenient to work with certain materials with the help of suitable tools.
